POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

TRIO STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES ACADEMIC ADVISOR

LINCOLN TRAIL COLLEGE | ROBINSON, IL

DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for assessing, and advising approximately 50 TRIO Student Support Services program participants at Lincoln Trail College in Robinson, IL. Job duties include providing students with career guidance, transfer information, financial aid information, and assistance with study skills development. Travel to other schools, colleges, and universities will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, education or related field preferred. Valid driver's license and an ability to work independently and travel within the target area is required.

WAGES: $19.09 per hour. Benefits include, but are not limited: medical, dental, and life insurance; paid sick leave, vacation, and personal days; and participation in State Universities Retirement System.
