Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team, with a pay range of $21-$23 per hour. The role includes working Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with optional overtime based on demand. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, and manufactures top-quality LED lighting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain lathe and PBT machines.
• Review drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples for accurate production.
• Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping materials.
• Select appropriate machines and settings for tasks.
• Plan the proper sequence of tasks to complete assignments.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Maintain inventory of completed products.
• Check output for quality assurance, document, or discard defects.
• Operate a small powder coating booth.
• Maintain a safe and clean workstation.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of machine operating experience.
• 2+ years of experience in reading drawings and blueprints.
• 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with powder coating is a plus.
• Technical school, vocational, or apprenticeship experience is beneficial.
• Bilingual Spanish speaker with past machine operating experience is an advantage.

Our facility, established in 2011, is known for its clean and quiet environment. It consists of a warehouse and assembly stations dedicated to building high-end LED systems. We maintain a strong commitment to quality and sustainability by ensuring all products are sourced and built entirely in the USA.

This position is based out of Libertyville, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
