Quality Inspector
Shift = Afternoons (2p – 10p) [Monday through Friday with weekends as needed]
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Inspector to join our team in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting materials throughout all stages of production, ensuring compliance with specifications, and supporting quality assurance activities.
I. Core Activities:
- Inspect materials : Inspect materials at all stages of manufacturing (receiving, processing, packaging, first/last piece, shipping, etc.) to ensure they meet specifications
- Contain suspect material: Place material on hold that does not meet requirements
- Maintain documentation / records: Ensure inspection reports / documentation is maintained properly
- Perform audits: Perform preservation and Layered process audits as assigned
- Other duties : Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Quality Manager or Quality Supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience in a quality control / assurance related role preferred
- ASQ certification highly desired / preferred
