Production Tech - Cannabis
As a Production Technician , you will play a key role in transforming raw cannabis flower into high-quality, medicated products. Under the guidance of the management team, you will assist in producing, packaging, and handling products while maintaining strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a team-oriented mindset to help ensure consistent product quality throughout the production process.

Responsibilities
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality
- Produce products according to established recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Package products into appropriate containers and apply accurate labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations
- Follow all processing procedures and laboratory protocols to maintain operational standards
- Maintain compliance with all local and state regulations
- Adhere to quality control standards throughout the entire production process
- Document and maintain manufacturing methods and procedures
- Accurately convert packaged products in the state traceability system
- Manage time efficiently to meet production targets while maintaining product quality
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment through strong housekeeping practices
- Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills, including proficiency with Windows-based software
- Use sound judgment during product processing while prioritizing quality and production goals
- Contribute to a positive team environment through a strong work ethic, motivation, and positive attitude
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or a college degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, food processing, warehousing, or inventory management preferred
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong self-motivation and initiative
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in policies, procedures, and techniques
- Strong communication and listening skills across a variety of audiences
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy
- Ability to follow instructions and accept constructive feedback
- Prior cannabis industry experience is not required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver's license or state-issued ID
- Must pass all required background checks
- Must remain compliant with all legal and company regulations related to working in the cannabis industry
- Must be approved by the Cannabis Compliance Board to obtain an Agent Card
- Regularly required to perform reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods while maintaining focus
- Physical Demand: Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds with care when handling product
