Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
• Current Illinois OT license
• Prefer candidate to have experience with total body work and not limited to fine motor
• Previous pediatric experience is required

Role Overview:
As an OT, you will support students in school settings by assessing their needs, developing individualized plans, and implementing interventions to help them succeed academically, socially, and physically. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Flexible part time need- 2-3 days/week
• Immediate need
• Hours: 3:30pm -8pm (After school hours)
• Setting: Clinic setting
• Caseload: Most are elementary aged kids with primarily sensory issues, ASD, low muscle tone, hypertonia, behavioral regulation, ADHD, apraxia.
• Contract to perm
• In-person only, as you will work 1:1

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals.
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs.
• Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications.
