Position Summary
Mother Teresa Catholic Academy is seeking a part-time Accountant. Mother Teresa Catholic Academy is a preschool through 8th grade Catholic school located in Crete, Illinois and is seeking a dedicated and qualified accountant to oversee the daily financial activities of the school. This leadership role is vital to ensuring the responsible stewardship of school resources and supporting the mission, philosophy, objectives and policies of the Church and the Diocese of Joliet.
Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll
- Human Resources
- Budget Preparation
- Collaborate closely with Pastor, School President, School Principal to implement strategic goals and maintain smooth operational functioning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Accounting or Finance preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in financial management, accounting, or business operations
- Proficiency with accounting software; experience with payroll and accounting systems is a plus
- A practicing Catholic with a commitment to the teachings and values of the Catholic Church is strongly preferred.
Salary & Benefits
$23.00 per hour with paid personal leave days.
