Environmental/Toxic Tort Litigation Attorneys

Overview:

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, has immediate openings in its Chicago and Southern Illinois offices within its Environmental/Toxic Tort Litigation Practice Group. We are seeking multiple highly motivated attorneys with 2-6 years’ experience and welcome all levels of experience to apply.

Candidates must possess a strong analytical ability, have excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills, and a commitment to client service. Additionally, candidates must have a positive attitude, outstanding work ethic, as well as the ability to work productively in both independent and team environments.

Job duties include performing legal research, drafting legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and client correspondence, attending court conferences, handling investigations, and discovery, including depositions. This is a hit-the-ground-running opportunity where the candidate will receive immediate meaningful litigation experience.

Candidates must be licensed and admitted to practice in Illinois.

As a national firm with a diverse and flexible workforce, including remote roles, alternative work arrangements, and contract opportunities throughout the country, our compensation structure reflects the wide range of career paths available within our platform. Our current national base salary ranges are:

• Associates (approximately 1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000;
• Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (approximately 5 years or more): $140,000–$215,000;
• Partners (approximately 7 years or more): $190,000–$275,000+.

Actual compensation is tailored to each individual and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market.
