Jackson Park Driving Range Staff
Jackson Park Driving Range is hiring! The Driving Range Attendant plays a key role in delivering a clean, efficient, and welcoming experience for guests.
Compensation: $17.80 per hour
Core Responsibilities:
Operate the driving range counter - sell range buckets, process transactions accurately, and assist guests with purchases.
Maintain a clean and organized counter area and shop space.
Pick range balls using the mechanical picker and range vehicle, following scheduled rotation.
Clean, sort, and restock range balls to ensure consistent supply throughout operating hours.
Monitor range conditions and communicate any safety concerns or maintenance needs to management.
Greet guests professionally and answer questions about range operations, pricing, and facility amenities.
Enforce range rules and etiquette to ensure a safe environment for all guests.
Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
Friendly, reliable, and punctual - you're often the first face guests see.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Able to operate or willing to learn range picking equipment (training provided).
Basic POS experience preferred.
Interest in golf or the golf industry a plus, but not required.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours during peak season.
Work Environment:
This is a physically active, outdoor-heavy role.
Attendants split time between counter service and range maintenance.
Expect a fast-paced environment during peak hours, particularly on weekends and warm weather days.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds; physical stamina required for extended periods of standing, walking, and outdoor work.
