Pride Health is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support our client’s medical facility in Wood Dale, IL. This is a 5+ month contract with the possibility of a contract hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Location: Wood Dale, IL 60191

Pay Rate: $18/hr. on W2.

Duration: 5+ Months

Shift: Mon - Fri 8am - 4:30pm / CST

*Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and process incoming materials
• Verify shipments and report any issues or mismatches
• Prepare and send outbound shipments with proper documents
• Manage returned goods as per company procedures
• Store items properly and rotate stock (FIFO & expiry-based)
• Identify and report short-expiry items
• Deliver materials to departments and staging areas
• Assist with inventory counts and stock checks
• Help with order picking, packing, and delivery
• Support mail handling (internal & external)
• Maintain records and assist with storage/retrieval
• Follow all safety and compliance guidelines
• Suggest improvements in warehouse processes
• Perform other assigned duties

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Minimum 6 months experience in warehouse/materials handling (preferred)
• Basic data entry experience, computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel)
• Ability to use scanners, printers, etc.
