Trauma PI Coordinator - Level I ACS

Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and highly organized Trauma Process Improvement (PI) Coordinators for a Level I American College of Surgeons (ACS) facility in Chicago to support trauma data and research initiatives. The Trauma PI Coordinator will work collaboration with the Trauma Program Manager (TPM) and other interdisciplinary team members that participates in the management of care provided to the injured patient. The Trauma PI Coordinator evaluates the quality of trauma care from the prehospital setting to hospital discharge.

We are seeking candidates who are interested in Full-time hybrid Trauma PI Coordinator opportunity who have an active IL RN.

Job Qualifications:

• Required - 1+ years' Trauma Process Improvement (PI) Coordinator experience for Level I facility
• Required - Previous Quality Improvement (QI) experience
• Required - Active IL RN License
• Preferred - BSN
• Required - Available to go on-site a few times a month for PI meetings
• Required - 1+ years Epic EMR experience
• Preferred - ESO Patient Registry experience or training
• Preferred - Certified Specialist Trauma Registrar (CSTR), Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN), and/or Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
• Preferred - Experience in Trauma Registry
• Required - Proficient with Microsoft programs such as Word, Publisher, Excel, and Teams
