Assembly Manufacturing Engineer

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Assembly Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Peoria, IL. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving Assembly processes and systems, driving Zero defects across Assembly area
• Provide application, procurement, processing, installation, and capability of new Assembly processes and equipment to safely and efficiently build transmission/torque converters as assigned
• Develop and maintain Standard work – Capp+/MESA, SAP (VPPA), PINPOINT and SFMEA’s
• Manage BOM/MBM system grief within Capp+ to ensure system alignment and requirements for Local controls
• Manage line requirements for PFMEA’s/Control plans, implement engineering changes, maintain PINPOINT/DC torque tooling processes, manage NPI/CPI programs, and continually work with Assembly/EHS team in reducing risk within Assembly areas

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Degreed Manufacturing Engineer with knowledge of assembly manufacturing concepts
• 5+ years of engineering experience, including Assembly work-related experience

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Knowledge with tools such as: Spinfire, AutoCAD, Minitab, ProModel, Pro/E, and MS Office
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently and manage one’s time
