Rabine Paving is hiring! We are looking for an Estimator to join our team. Rabine Paving has over 38 years of industry-leading experience on commercial paving projects across the Midwest. We offer turn-key solutions for your parking lot.

This is a key role for ensuring that our bids meet the required standards and deadlines. Looking for the right person that can work in a fast-paced environment. It requires someone who is detail oriented, has strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams. The Estimator will assist with various bidding support tasks, including preparing bidding documents, reviewing and understanding bid requirements, coordinating bid deliveries and ability to work in client portals. This position has potential to grow into a full estimating position.

Estimator Responsibilities:

· Manage all client bid portals (managing the various bid portals will be the #1 priority)

· Tracking all bid event due dates and updating the estimating team of these dates

· Keeping track of any customer requests assigned directly to Rabine

· Downloading all bid documents that are published

· Assisting with submitting/tracking any RFIs

· Assisting with submission of finished estimates

· Assisting the estimating team

· Entering new bids into the opportunity funnel

· Assist with making calls/emails to obtain material/vendor quotes

· Assist with proposal preparation

· Ability to source for vendors/subcontractors for submittal, proposals and prequalification documents

· Maintain vendors and subcontractors’ information in the company database

Estimator Qualifications:

· Proficiency in Microsoft programs with focus on Excel and Adobe

· Utilize HCSS bid platform & Salesforce CRM

· Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

· Strong Analytical Skills to interpret bid documents

· Asphalt paving & Concrete experience is a plus
