Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized educational support to middle school students in a self-contained classroom setting. The role is full-time and contract-based for the normal school year, located near Beach Park, IL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to middle school students with special needs in a self-contained classroom
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students requirements
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and specialists to support student growth and learning outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational standards and regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Special Education (SPED) credentials
- Experience working with middle school students in a special education environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create and maintain a supportive and structured classroom environment
