Enterprise architect

Opportunity Information:

Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic technology team. The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust, scalable, and secure architectural solutions that align with our business objectives. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to guide the architecture team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Architectural Leadership:  Define, develop, and maintain the overall architectural vision and roadmap for our products and platforms.

• Solution Design:  Lead the design and review of complex, scalable, and high-performance systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.

• Team Leadership:  Mentor and guide a team of architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:  Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Technology Evaluation:  Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Governance & Standards:  Establish and enforce architectural best practices, coding standards, and design patterns across the organization.

• Risk Management:  Identify architectural risks and propose mitigation strategies.

• Documentation:  Ensure comprehensive documentation of architecture designs, decisions, and processes.

• Quality Assurance:  Oversee code reviews, technical audits, and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in software architecture, system design, and development.

• Proven experience with architecture teams or large-scale projects.

• Deep understanding of architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven, serverless, etc.).

• Proficiency in [relevant programming languages and frameworks, e.g., Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, etc.].

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.

• Strong knowledge of security, scalability, and performance optimization.

• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.

• Data Architecture and experience with a Catalog are a plus
