Our company has been in business, in the Chicago area since 1955. We are currently seeking a Entry Level Calibration Technician for immediate start to join our fantastic team! We offer great pay and benefits. This is a great opportunity to join our calibration team in Bartlett, IL. The ideal candidate we are looking for should have at least one year of previous experience in one or more of the following areas: Quality Assurance, Quality Control Inspector, ISO 19001, ISO 17025, Laboratory environment.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Company will relocate to Elgin, IL (Randall and I-90) before the end of the year 2022.

Job Responsibilities:

• Calibrating and adjusting equipment and instruments according to approved methods and standards
  • Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators
  • Pin Gages
  • Gage Blocks
  • Thread Gages
  • Plain Ring
  • Other equipment that falls under the "Entry-Level" category
• Produce accurate calibration certificates
• Troubleshooting equipment failures
• Perform basic equipment repairs
• Online research for OEM procedures and specifications
• Maintain exemplary laboratory cleanliness through daily routine cleaning of lab spaces and workstations
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned

Job Skills and Requirements:

• Communication: The candidate will work closely with many people in the office and must speak clearly and have good people skills
• Computer Skills: The candidate will have to work with Microsoft Word & Excel. Basic Knowledge is a MUST.
• Attention to Detail: Must demonstrate attention to detail and conscientiousness related to the quality of work
• Must have a valid driver's license

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position . Monday – Friday 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
