Resident Services Assistant - Alternating Weekend Days

Join our team as a Resident Service Assistant (RSA) at Windsor of Savoy in beautiful Savoy, Illinois. In this rewarding role, you’ll help residents with daily activities, provide personal care, and ensure their comfort and safety while working alongside a supportive and dedicated team.

Schedule:

• Alternating Weekends - Day Shift, 6:30 a.m. - 3 p.m., 16 hours/pay period
• Must be able to work every other Saturday and Sunday.
• Additional shifts may be available PRN.

Pay Range (DOE): $16.31 - $26.65

What You’ll Do:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal/activity reminders
• Help residents prepare for appointments, outings, and transportation in a timely manner
• Respond to resident calls promptly and assist in emergencies as needed
• Monitor and document vital signs and other health-related tasks
• Act as a mentor to new RSAs, helping to train and guide team members
• Foster a warm, caring environment for residents and families

What We’re Looking For:

• A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or 1 year of caregiving experience
• Ability to perform vital sign checks, blood glucose monitoring, and other care procedures (training available!)
• Compassionate, positive attitude with a passion for helping older adults
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• BLS and Food Handler certifications (or the ability to obtain within 30 days)
• Must be able to pass preemployment screening.
• Our preemployment screening includes a physical, TB test and drug screen (including marijuana).
