How You Will Contribute:

• Process electronic business and individual tax returns and extensions through e-file submissions, utilizing firm procedures and tracking systems to ensure all data is entered accurately and timely filed and received by IRS and state jurisdictions
• Manage the completion of all filing and organize accepted and rejected filings including communication with Department Personnel to clear up and resolve errors
• Opportunity to learn and apply knowledge of Application Programming Interface
• Help build greater automation and efficiencies between various software platforms in use within the tax department
• Respond to daily issues and requests and keep internal clients apprised of any critical issues
• Maintain content for internal document management in GoFileRoom
• Assist clients with signing returns and documents

About YOU!

• Bachelor's degree required, degree in business or technology is a plus
• 3+ years of relevant work experience preferably in the public accounting industry or a professional services company
• Strong Interest in technology and it's uses in business
• Passion for client service and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong attention to detail
• DAILY ACCESS TO RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION to travel to and from our office locations

Exact compensation offered to a candidate is determined after consideration of numerous factors including internal pay alignment, market data, and the candidate's qualifications- including, but not limited to, specialty skills, prior relevant industry experience, and relevant degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, JD). The pay range estimated below is inclusive roles in this department, and offered salaries may vary within the given range. A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $28 - $42 per hour, not including other competitive benefits.
