Data Owner Vice President - Voice

As a Data Owner on the Voice Data Team, you will play a key role in enabling the business to drive faster innovation through the use of its data, while ensuring that data is of good quality and well-protected. You’ll be accountable for data in the product that is created, provisioned, or consumed to support business objectives, advanced analytics, business operations, and reporting. As a member of the data ownder team, you’ll collaborate with the Product Owner, Design, and Technology Leads to ensure that the product delivers data in a manner consistent with the quality and safety requirements of the business.
You will work closely with partners across Business, Technology, Analytics, Operations, and Risk to deliver data solutions that support strategic objectives. This role offers significant opportunities for learning, growth, and career advancement within a collaborative and innovative team.
Job responsibilities
- Create plans for the development and delivery of product data to support strategic business objectives, business operations, advanced analytics, and metrics and reporting.
- Work with key partners to drive an understanding of the data and its use within the business; provide subject matter expertise on data content and usage.
- Identify the scope of critical data within the product, ensuring prioritized data is well-documented and classified with metadata.
- Support the aligned Data & Analytics lead by identifying data required for integration into analytics platforms.
- Document requirements for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data, and coordinate resources to deliver data quality requirements.
- Influence resources to resolve identified data issues in a timely manner.
- Develop processes and procedures to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks, including protection, retention, destruction, storage, use, and quality.
- Manage execution of tasks to comply with Firmwide policies, standards, and procedures related to data integrity and protection.
- Develop relationships with product data delivery partners and data consumers, including leaders in Business, Technology, Analytics, Operations, Risk, and Control.
- Manage the execution of milestones; understand and mitigate risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in the product development lifecycle with respect to data.
- Track and manage workstreams and associated KPIs to ensure successful deliveries.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Seven years of industry experience in a data-related field.
- Experience managing delivery across multiple workstreams with varying timelines.
- Technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, or data architecture.
- Ability to manage delivery timelines and ensure product and organizational goals are met.
- Proficiency with SQL.
- Subject matter expertise in business or product data or processes.
- Ability to deliver outcomes via internal partnerships.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical senior audiences.
- Structured thinker with good business acumen.
- Understanding of Agile technological development methodology.
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field.
