Party Rental Driver Helper

House of Rental is a full-service Party, Event, Tool & Equipment Rental company located in Skokie, IL. Established in 1969, we proudly serve Chicago and the northern suburbs.

We are currently seeking a Driver Helper to join our party rental team. This position supports our delivery drivers in providing friendly, professional service to our customers. If you enjoy hands-on work, being active throughout the day, and working as part of a team, this may be the right fit for you.

Delivery areas include: Skokie, Wilmette, Winnetka, Evanston, Morton Grove, Glenview, Northbrook, Chicago, Highland Park, Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, Park Ridge, and surrounding suburban areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with daily deliveries and pickups

• Load and unload tables, chairs, tents, and other party rental equipment

• Help pull and stage orders in the warehouse when needed

• Assist with unloading and setting equipment at customer locations

• Count and verify inventory before leaving the shop and upon return

• Help maintain clean, organized trucks and warehouse areas

• Provide friendly, professional customer service at delivery sites
  
  

This is a physically demanding position requiring lifting, carrying, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move heavy rental equipment on a daily basis

• Strong attention to detail (inventory counting and order accuracy)

• Team-oriented with a positive attitude

• Dependable and punctual

• Early mornings and late nights during busy season May through October
