Job Title: Sourcing Recruiter
Job Description
The Sourcing Recruiter plays a pivotal role in proactively identifying and developing talent pipelines for priority roles. This position collaborates closely with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and Talent Acquisition leaders to design and implement targeted sourcing strategies that yield high-quality, diverse candidate pools aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities

Design and execute sourcing strategies for assigned roles and talent segments aligned to hiring priorities.

Build and maintain diverse pipelines of active and passive talent.

Partner with Recruiters to translate role requirements into sourcing approaches.

Conduct market mapping and competitive intelligence.

Use sourcing metrics and insights to improve pipeline quality.

Provide insights into talent availability, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

Recommend sourcing channels, tools, and techniques.

Develop talent personas and target company lists.

Share market insights and best practices with Talent Acquisition partners.

Collaborate with Recruiters and Hiring Managers on role priorities, timelines, and talent attraction strategy.

Influence hiring decisions through data-backed recommendations.

Provide updates on sourcing progress and risks.

Support candidate engagement and outreach messaging.

Enhance sourcing processes, tools, and workflows.

Pilot new sourcing techniques and technologies.

Share sourcing best practices across Talent Acquisition.

Support the development of junior sourcing and recruiting talent.
Essential Skills
-
4-7 years of experience in sourcing or recruiting roles.

Proven ability to independently own sourcing strategies.

Expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM tools, ATS, and market mapping.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Work Environment
This is a 6-9 month contract assignment that is fully remote. The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm CT. You will be supporting a team of experienced and tenured recruiters in developing a pipeline of Entry Level sales candidates.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Vernon Hills, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
