Lead

Akkodis is seeking a Lead for a Contract with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate with deep knowledge of QA processes and SDLC methodologies, ensuring high‑quality delivery through structured test planning and execution .

Rate Range: $37/hour to $40/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Lead job responsibilities include:

• Lead end‑to‑end QA processes by defining testing goals, measurement plans, and quality standards aligned with business objectives.

• Conduct functional, system, and regression testing using SDLC methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.

• Perform detailed system analysis, defect assessment, troubleshooting, and reporting to ensure high‑quality software delivery.

• Manage test planning, scripting, execution, and documentation using tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, Confluence, Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Postman, and SoapUI.

• Compile, interpret, and present test metrics and performance reports to stakeholders for continuous improvement.

• Ensure compliance with industry testing standards while supporting QA activities within banking and financial domain applications.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Test Analyst Lead in QA/Testing environments.

• Strong working knowledge of SDLC, QA methodologies, functional testing, and automated testing frameworks.

• Hands‑on experience with HP ALM, JIRA, Confluence, Git/Bitbucket, Postman, SoapUI, and prior exposure to Banking or Financial domain projects.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $40.00 per hour
