Maglux Construction & Restoration LLC is a growing construction and property services company specializing in property maintenance, restoration, and improvement projects. We maintain residential properties throughout the Chicago suburbs and are looking for a reliable Property Maintenance Manager to help manage maintenance operations and coordinate repairs.
Position Summary
The Property Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing maintenance requests, inspecting properties, coordinating repairs, and ensuring properties remain safe and well-maintained. This role requires strong organization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple work orders efficiently.
A company vehicle and company iPad will be provided for use during work hours to manage work orders and travel between properties.
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance for residential properties
- Schedule and manage work orders using a company-provided iPad
- Conduct property inspections and identify repair needs
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors
- Ensure maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner
- Track and document property maintenance activities
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues when necessary
- Maintain property safety and maintenance standards
Qualifications
- Experience in property maintenance, construction, or property management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple maintenance requests and properties
- Basic knowledge of repairs, construction, or building maintenance
- Comfortable using tablets or scheduling software
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work independently and problem solve in the field
