Job details:
Position: Registered Nurse – Stepdown (Progressive Care) SNSN SN
Location: Rock Island
Shift: Nights – 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Duties:
• Provide direct nursing care to cardiac stepdown / progressive care patients.
• Monitor and manage patients with cardiac and medical-surgical conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and respond to patient changes in condition.
• Float across affiliated campuses as needed (Rock Island, Bettendorf, Moline, Muscatine).
• Document all patient care using Epic EMR.

Requirements
• Active Illinois RN license required at time of submission
• Iowa RN license or compact eligibility required
• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) required
• ACLS (AHA or American Red Cross) required
• Minimum 2 years recent Stepdown / Progressive Care experience required
• Cardiac Stepdown experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum 24 months recent Stepdown experience in work history required
• Driver’s license required at submission
• Willingness to float across campuses required
• Every other weekend required
• First-time travelers accepted
