OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Aurora, IL by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Serve nationwide dry-van routes while based in Aurora, IL with a team-oriented carrier. HMD offers competitive mileage starting at 65 CPM, typical weekly miles around 2,500, and incentive pay for safety, clean inspections and referrals.

Responsibilities:

• Operate modern dry-van tractors (under 3 years) featuring sleepers, APUs and inverters.
• Run OTR trips, keep meticulous logs, and ensure timely, compliant deliveries under DOT guidelines.
• Perform routine inspections and work with in-house maintenance for repairs.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable driving experience.
• Commitment to safety, professionalism, and maintaining a clean record.
