Founded in 2004, IT8 began as a mechanical design and engineering office. Today, we deliver Body-in-White, warehouse automation, and industrial automation services across Europe, India, Mexico, Germany, and the United States.

IT8 Engineering is expanding across the U.S. and seeking Back-end Developers to lead automation and engineering projects from planning to execution.

Job Title: Back-end Developers , Mid and Senior levels available.

General Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
  
  
  • Troubleshoot and g ing: Be able to troubleshoot issues and resolve them, while communicating them to project managers, stakeholders, and QA teams.
  
  
  • Database managemente and data storage: Designing and maintaining databases to store and manage data efficiently. This includes tasks such as creating database schemas, writing queries, optimizing database performance, and ensuring data integrity and security.
  
  
  • API Development: Designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to allow communication between different parts of the application or with external systems. This involves defining endpoints, handling requests and responses, and ensuring API security and scalability.
  
  
  • tIntegration and Third-Party Services: Integrating third-party services, libraries, or APIs into the application as needed. This may include payment gateways, authentication services, cloud storage, or other external systems.
    
  
  
  • Software Architecture and System Design: contribute to the definition and evolution of the software architecture, focusing on building scalable, maintainable, and high-performance systems. Make key technical decisions regarding frameworks, design patterns, data flow, and system structure to ensure consistency across microservices and APIs. Collaborate closely with Front-End, DevOps, and Automation teams to establish best practices, enforce coding standards, and adapt the architecture to industrial environments using containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud services (AWS).
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cpmputer Science, Systems Engineering, Electronic engineering or related.


• 4-5 years of experience (mandatory) as Back-end developer


• Experience in the automotive industry


• Excellent organizational and time management skills.


• Strong leadership and team management abilities.


• Customer requirem and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.


• Advanced level of English and Spanish (desired).


• Authorization to work in the United States. We accept TN Visa holders.
