About the Role:
Pta Co is looking for a reliable and motivated FedEx Delivery Driver to join our team in Sauget, IL! This is a fantastic opportunity to hit the road, serve your community, and be part of a fast-paced logistics operation. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport and deliver FedEx packages along assigned routes
- Load, unload, and organize packages for efficient daily route completion
- Scan and track packages using handheld devices to ensure accurate delivery confirmation
- Obtain recipient signatures and follow proper delivery protocols
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning delivery vehicle
- Communicate with dispatch and team members to resolve delivery issues or route changes
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety standards
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 75 lbs regularly
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet daily delivery deadlines
- Comfortable navigating routes using GPS and delivery management apps
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Previous delivery, logistics, or driving experience preferred
- Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and physical environments
