Job Description: Swiss CNC Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Swiss CNC Engineer to join our dedicated team. This role involves working with state-of-the-art CNC equipment and requires expertise in programming and operating Swiss style machines. Our ideal candidate will have a strong experience in CNC machining and a keen eye for detail. You will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality parts and exceptional service to meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Use algebra, geometry, and trigonometry for machine setup and programming.

• Program and set up Citizen and Tsugami swiss style machines using Espirit Software.

• Read and understand blueprints and set-up sheets to ensure accurate machine operation.

• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.

• Perform de-burring, inspection, and cleaning during machine cycle time to optimize usage.

• Complete special projects as assigned.

• Understand print requirements and demonstrate awareness of GD&T.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a CNC/machining environment.

• 2+ years of experience programming Swiss CNC machines.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and set-up sheets.

• Proficiency in creating complex offline programs for Swiss machines.

• Understanding of tool paths and program development.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

• Degree in Engineering is preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Elmhurst, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
