The Director, Corporate Banking – Insurance Sector is responsible for managing a portfolio of complex client relationships while leading the origination, structuring, and execution of corporate banking transactions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients within the insurance sector across multiple geographies.
• Originate, structure, and execute lending and financing transactions aligned with client needs and organizational objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and due diligence, including financial modeling, industry research, and risk assessment.
• Structure and negotiate complex financial transactions while balancing risk and return considerations.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and deliver integrated financial solutions in partnership with internal product teams.
• Develop and deliver client presentations, including pitch materials and strategic recommendations.
• Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations.
• Monitor market conditions, regulatory developments, and industry trends to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and present credit documentation for internal approval processes.
• Lead or contribute to deal teams to drive execution and client outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in corporate banking, investment banking, or financial services
• Demonstrated experience covering the insurance sector
• Proven track record in structuring and executing lending transactions
• Experience managing client portfolios and driving business development initiatives

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
• MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced certification preferred
