Surgical First Assist / Surgical Tech (Neurosurgery)

Travel Surgical Tech / Surgical First Assist – Neurosurgery (14 to 20 hrs. / week) – Tuesday / Wednesday coverage needs.

Location: Western Indiana just 1 hour west of Indianapolis, IN

Contract Length: 13 Weeks (with potential to extend)

Pay: Competitive Weekly Rates

Position Type: Travel Contract Coverage for Tuesday and Wednesday.

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Tech / Surgical First Assist with strong neurosurgery experience for an immediate contract in Western Indiana —with the possibility of extension!

Responsibilities:

• Assist in neurosurgical cases primarily on Tuesday and Wednesday .
• Support other surgical specialties aligned with your experience for the remainder of the week.
• Collaborate with surgeons and OR staff to ensure seamless procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and monitor patient safety throughout surgery.
• Accurately document patient care and assist in medication administration.

Requirements:

• Active CST or CSFA certification. Will consider RNFA
• Minimum 2 years of neurosurgery experience required.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
