Machine Operator

Shift: 6pm-6am Monday-Thursday $20/hr | Weekly pay

Responsibilities

• Review work orders, product specifications, and special instructions to ensure a thorough understanding of production requirements.
• Assist in loading and setting up machines according to instructions.
• Follow specifications to mix chemical/adhesive solutions as per work orders and safely pump solutions into machines.
• Monitor production processes closely to identify any quality issues promptly. Stop production runs immediately if problems are detected and alert the machine operator II or production manager.
• Operate up to two machines competently and assist in operating additional machines as needed.
• Follow instructions given by the machine operator II or production manager, asking questions when necessary.
• Identify all finished products with accurate part numbers, work order numbers, lot numbers, and any other required information.
• Identify equipment problems and inform maintenance or the production manager.
• Make suggestions to improve quality, efficiency, safety, or communication.
• Verify that the final product produced meets quality standards and product specifications.
• Follow all safety practices and immediately correct or report unsafe conditions. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department supervisor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LAKE BLUFF, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in LAKE BLUFF,IL.
