Job Summary

Ibarra Group LLC is a Certified MBE/DBE Steel Fabricator and Steel Erector based in Chicago. We are seeking a Welder Fabricator to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Various Welding Operations
• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
• Install and repair various equipment and components
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
• Team Collaboration

​ Qualifications:

• Must be proficient in reading blueprints and shop drawings
• Minimum 8-10 years experience
• Experienced in fabrication of Steel Stairs / handrail / Structural Steel / Fence
• Must be able to manage and work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely completion of fabrication and welding tasks
• Problem Solving and Troubleshooting welding issues
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
• Ability to handle physical workload
