Customer Service Representative: Loves Park, I llinois

Our client in Loves Park, Illinois is a growing manufacturing company focused on delivering top-quality products and outstanding customer service. As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and play a key role in managing customer orders and inquiries. This position requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:

• Enter orders and provide order confirmations using the Epicor MRP system for assigned accounts.
• Use Epicor to relay current and future order information to customers and production, addressing concerns as needed.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding order status and expedite orders when necessary.
• Upload customer invoices to their respective invoice portals.
• Manage web-based orders from entry through fulfillment.
• Review order status reports and resolve order delays due to credit or sales-related holds.
• Utilize effective listening and probing skills to proactively identify and address customer concerns.
• Resolve customer problems accurately and in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Collaborate with internal teams to accomplish company goals and resolve issues.
• Handle inbound calls, answer customer questions, and route calls to the appropriate departments.
• Perform general administrative duties such as distributing mail and ordering office supplies.

Customer Service Representative Requirements and Qualifications:

• Strong listening and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional demeanor with strong integrity and work ethic.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Solid organizational, research, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using Epicor MRP systems.

Pay for Customer Service Representative: $20.00 – $25.00/hour (based on experience)
