About the Position

Immediate opening for an experienced Psychiatrist in the Greater Chicago area. Long -term contracted position.

About the Role

This position will carry a caseload of 11-15 adult mental health inpatients each week and provide back-up coverage support as needed.

Documentation of patient care

Diagnosis, provide treatment, and prescribe medication as appropriate for optimal mental health.

Responsibilities

  • Team meetings each day to ensure quality patient care.
  • Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Qualifications

  • Long-term contracted position offering a competitive wage.
  • Unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Illinois or, ability to obtain one.
  • Controlled Substance License and unrestricted DEA.
  • BE/BC in Psychiatry*ABNP

Required Skills

  • Experience in psychiatric care.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively.
  • BLS certified

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with team-based care approaches.
