We are actively seeking dedicated and certified Special Education Teachers (K–12) to support students in school-based settings across the southern greater Chicago area . Position Summary

Special Education Teachers will provide individualized instruction and support to students with a wide range of learning, developmental, and emotional needs. This role requires a strong commitment to inclusive education , collaboration with school teams, and compliance with Illinois and federal special education regulations .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide differentiated instruction based on student needs and abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Implement evidence-based instructional strategies and behavior supports
• Foster an inclusive, structured, and engaging classroom environment

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education endorsement
• Experience working with K–12 students with diverse learning needs preferred
• Strong understanding of IDEA and IEP compliance requirements
• Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet varied learning styles
