Mold Maker
- Lead preventive maintenance, changeovers, troubleshooting, and full mold repairs, including complete tear-down, inspection, and reassembly to production standards.
- Execute precision fitting and polishing of replacement components to ensure flawless performance.
- Remove and install mold components with accuracy, ensuring every tool is production ready.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mold reliability, uptime, and maintenance efficiency.
- Monitor and support production tooling to maximize performance and minimize downtime.
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience : 3+ years' experience with plastic injection mold repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
Skills: Ability to read technical documents and work instructions, strong communication skills, and experience with CAD.
Knowledge: Proficient with manual machining equipment (mills, lathes, surface grinders).
