Childcare Teacher

Description

We are looking for a caring and energetic member to j oin Child Serve as a Childcare Teacher . This individual will contribute to a positive nurturing environment that is safe clean and organized for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years old . Childcare Teachers at Child Serve encourage childrens overall development through appropriate play-based activities and working collaboratively with families.

Schedule

40 hours per week Monday - Friday between the hours of 6:30 AM and 6 PM.

How Youll Make an Impact

• Provide routine care for infants and children including diapering/personal cares hygiene support hand washing and serving meals and snacks.
• Maintain a safe environment through constant supervision adherence to staff/child ratios accurate name-to-face attendance and consistent assessment of childrens general health with timely reporting of concerns.
• Support a clean organized and structured environmentindoors and outdoorsby following Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) strategies.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to families and complete all required documentation accurately and within established deadlines.
• Demonstrate reliability by arriving on time and participating in required training sessions staff meetings and annual professional development.

What Youll Need :

• Ability to meet health and safety requirements including passing a ChildServe physical exam and adhering to any applicable COVID-19 protocols.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs remain mobile in classroom and playground environments and perform frequent bending lifting reaching and standing.
• Ability to obtain First Aid CPR Mandatory Reporter Standard Precautions and DHS Pre-Service Essential Training certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Effective communication skills in reading writing and speaking the English language.
• High school diploma or GED required; prior experience providing care and supervision for children preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting pay for this position is $13.35/ hour and goes up based upon candidates years of experience and education hist ory.
