Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and talented Vice President of Platform Resilience who has genuine excitement for and interest in areas such as supply chain security and countering nation state actors with responsibilities ranging from direct government interfacing to securing operations and operational security of teams. You will lead multiple teams to address these multi-dimensional topics. You must relish the challenge of dealing with potentially unsolvable problems and how to transform uncertainty into strategy that is defensible at different levels (including government and executives). You will help grow your team members to achieve outstanding results. Creativity is highly valued; being able to find alternative paths and dealing with fluid constrains is a must.

Work You Will Do
As a Vice President, you will manage the organization towards the different objectives, helping defining priorities and scope. You will be responsible for the strategy, planning and overall delivery of the different areas of responsibility, engaging with other organizations and executive leadership to define strategy. You will interface with the US Government, on an as-needed basis. You will understand how to audit operations teams. You will be at ease engaging in technical discussions with security researchers, analysts and engineers, as well as meeting deadlines.
What You Bring
-
Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity) or related relevant experience

20+ years of relevant security experience in leadership of highly complex themes

12+ years of managerial people leadership skills, including leaders at the senior management and director levels

Understanding of nation state actors, how they operate, their priorities and modus operandi

Demonstrated leadership skills, organizational capability and management techniques
-
Personality and communication skills that inspire teams and team members
-
Experience interfacing with the US Government in a cyber security related role, including at the Senate and Congress levels

Ability to lead cross-departmental security initiatives and advocate for secure development, networks, and architecture

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Nice to Have

Experience working in a large cloud or Internet software company

Experience navigating and working with extremely large codebases

Experience managing security incidents in an incident commander role

Proven experience with security research

CISSP, CISM, CISA, CIPP or other equivalent certification

Responsibilities
Create the division strategy for supporting and/or implementing large and/or complex multi-functional and/or multi-location projects and/or systems.
Lead the organization or critical function that manages the development, deployment and execution of controls and defenses to ensure the security and risk mitigation of company infrastructure technology and information systems or otherwise strengthens the company's ability to identify, protect, defend and respond to threats to the company's information resources.
Identifies security architecture, goals, objectives and metrics; analyzes business needs and priorities for protection of critical systems.
Set strategic direction for building next-generation security programs and assurance, e.g. threat and vulnerabilities management, incident response management, management of forensic investigations.
Evaluates potential business impacts from security breaches and provides strategic and tactical guidance to business decision-makers.
Develops and executes security systems compliance policies and procedures. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $213,900 to $457,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
