Location: (Lisle, IL) Must live within commuting distance of Lisle, IL
Salary : $40-50/hr + Per Diem + Company Car

As a Field Service Technician, you'll be hands-on with advanced electro-mechanical equipment-installing, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance while making a direct impact at customer sites.
We are seeking a Field Service Supervisor, serving as the primary link between the team and the Regional Service Director while reinforcing company policies and standards. Oversees all technical activities within the region, addresses customer requirements, and manages ongoing issues as the second level of technical escalation. Acts as a working technician for complex assignments or when additional capacity is needed.
Specialties: Packaging materials (films, trays, pouches), slicing and portioning equipment, thermoforming systems, tray sealing units, chamber machines, vacuum and skin packaging systems, shrink applications, inspection and quality control technology, automated handling modules, and turnkey packaging lines
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide day-to-day supervision of a team of 8-10 Field Service Technicians
- Directly supervise and oversee customer service operations to ensure high-quality installation, service, maintenance, and repair of equipment
- Work closely with the Regional Service Director and Regional Scheduler on a daily basis to ensure region is meeting assigned objectives.
- Travel to customer sites with little notice to ensure high-profile immediate needs are met
- Provide technical and developmental coaching through regular field travel with technicians
- Set clear expectations for Field Service Technicians and deliver timely performance feedback
What You Need for this Position
- 5+ years of experience as a Field Service Technician and managing a field service team
- Associate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- PLCs, VFDs, Servo Motors, Pneumatics, 480v, electrical circuitry
- Troubleshoot large-scale, complex machinery mechanically, electrically, and robotic systems.
- GREAT customer service; ability to lead and teach others
