Summary:

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for designing, implementing and leading the group quality program which includes visual and physical inspections to detect any imperfections. The Quality Supervisor will also be responsible for quality reporting, analysis and data-based feedback to the operations team. This position will also oversee the reporting of non-conforming material to operations as well as the customer.

Primary Job Duties:

• Develop reporting tools and metrics that can be used to guide and track quality inspections and identify stronger process controls.
• Identify and facilitate resolution of quality process gaps to demonstrate a controlled environment using continuous improvement methodologies.
• Build, train and lead a skilled team that works well cross-functionally with other Production Control and Operations groups.
• Regularly communicate Quality Accuracy progress, trends, and actions with senior-level company executives
• Acts as the primary point of contact for the customer to resolve quality issues.
• Complies with all safety policies, practices and procedures and reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years related experience including supervisory responsibilities in production, warehouse, manufacturing/assembly/3PL environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to consistently meet deadlines
• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong preference for individuals with experience in a World Class environment serving Fortune 500 customers

Location: 1601 N Main Morton IL

Shift: M-F 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Range: $55,000 – $65,000

Job Type: Full Time
