Where you will work: This position reports to Astound's office in Chicago, IL.

A Day in the Life of the Commercial Network Technician:

• Assess and ascertain the condition of switches and other peripherals
• Complete routine maintenance, weekly backups, daily orders and tickets in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot and resolved problems
• Follow established procedures and guidelines for maintenance
• Follow necessary safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 2+ in customer technician (commercial)
• Competencies: Maintain satisfactory driving record and have a valid driver's license
• Knowledge of Ladder; Hand or Power Tools;
• Customer Service; Communication (verbal, written)
• Basic Computer Skills
• Aptitude to learn to skills
• Problem solving
• Time Management
• Teamwork; Working alone

Base Salary: The base salary range in Illinois for this position is $34.00 - $36.00 per hour, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to Illinois and may not be applicable to other locations.
