KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate various machine tools including lathes, milling machines, and grinders to fabricate precision parts.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.
- Perform quality inspections and measurements to ensure parts meet required tolerances and standards.
- Maintain and adjust machines to optimize performance and ensure safety compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve processes.
1st shift M-F (6am- 2:30pm) PAY TRANSPARENCY The hourly salary range for this position is $26.54- $33.17 . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. - Proven experience as a machinist with a solid understanding of machining processes and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications accurately.
- Strong skills in operating machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders with precision and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and the use of measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Associate degree or technical certification in machining or manufacturing technology.
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments.
- Experience with CNC machinery and programming is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in machining techniques.
