Director of Advanced Engineering (MIM/PM Materials)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to step into the role of Director of Advanced Engineering, focusing on Metal Injection Molding (MIM) and Powder Metallurgy (PM) materials. This pivotal position will spearhead the strategic development and integration of cutting-edge materials and processes, aiming to deliver innovative, scalable, and commercially viable manufacturing solutions across sectors such as defense, automotive, aerospace, medical, firearms, and industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the company's materials and process development strategy for MIM, Binder Jet additive manufacturing, and advanced PM and CNC-hybrid components.
• Oversee the translation of emerging technologies into market-ready solutions, ensuring high reliability and technical excellence.
• Develop and execute a technology roadmap that aligns with business goals, accelerates time-to-market, and supports margin expansion.
• Lead and mentor a team of MIM Process Engineers, Metallurgists, and Material Development personnel.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within the metal injection molding and powder metallurgy sectors.
• Strong track record in overseeing advanced engineering teams and delivering complex projects across multiple industries.
• Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
