Position Overview:

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our cardiology team at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, IL. This is a full-time position offering a 50% inpatient / 50% outpatient mix, with the opportunity to step into a leadership role as the program evolves.

• Schedule: Daytime shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call: 1:3 shared call with three other cardiologists
• Mid-level Support
• Licensure: Active Illinois license preferred

Compensation Package:
• Base salary starting at $550,000+, commensurate with experience
• RVU-based production incentive available

• Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision,life,and malpractice with tail

• Generous PTO

• Relocation Allowance

Qualifications

Who We’re Looking For:
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology (General or Interventional)
• Eligible for medical licensure in Illinois
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-quality healthcare environment

Pay Transparency

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is 500,000-625,000 The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
