Sandwich Maker
Named one of Evanston’s Best Restaurants by Eater Chicago, Inspired Indian is a fast-growing Indian food brand serving the Evanston/Northwestern community across four lines of business: our takeout lunch counter, catering for offices and Northwestern events, the H/eat at Home weekly meal plan, and a national spice kit line. Our menu blends traditional Indian flavors with creative twists — think Paneer Tikka paninis, Bombay Wraps, and other crave-worthy handhelds. We pride ourselves on quality ingredients, warm hospitality, and a work environment where team members are valued and respected. Duties
- Assemble and griddle sandwiches and wraps to order during our busy lunch rush
- Assist with catering orders for offices and Northwestern events
- Package and label refrigerated entrees for our H/eat at Home meal plan
- Prep and portion fresh ingredients daily, maintaining food safety standards
- Keep workstation clean, organized, and stocked during service
- General kitchen prep and light cleaning at shift end
- Strong attention to detail, consistency, and hygiene
- Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player
- Thrives in a fast-paced, friendly environment
Hours
- Wed–Sat, 10:30am–2:30pm (no late nights — a good fit for a second job or part-time schedule)
- Hourly pay + tips
