Job Description:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and flexible Travel Special Education Teacher for a school-based contract position in Chicago, IL. This is a great opportunity for educators who are passionate about supporting diverse learners and who thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments.

As a Travel Special Education Teacher, you will provide instruction and support to students with varying exceptionalities, ensure IEP pliance, and work closely with general education staff, families, and related service providers to help students succeed both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and classroom support to students with mild to moderate disabilities in inclusive or self-contained settings

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal regulations

• Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to inform instruction and document student growth

• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school staff to ensure inclusive practices

• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development sessions

• Maintain accurate records and ensure pliance with IDEA and local district guidelines

• Travel between assigned school(s), if applicable

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field

• Valid Illinois Special Education Teaching Certification (or eligibility to obtain before start date)

• Experience working with students in school settings (PreK12)

• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation, classroom management, and differentiated instruction

• Strong interpersonal and munication skills

• Adaptable, organized, and able to build positive relationships with students and staff
