Construction Laborer
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team in Edwardsville. As a vital part of our construction crew, you will assist in various tasks that contribute to the successful completion of our projects. If you enjoy working outdoors, have a passion for building, and are ready to roll up your sleeves, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Perform basic construction tasks such as lifting, and carrying.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks as needed.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive work is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
