Operations Clerk
Position Summary
The Day Warehouse Coordinator supports warehouse and logistics operations by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks within the receiving office. Under general supervision, this role completes standard but diversified office duties requiring working knowledge of warehouse operations, company policies, and procedures. The coordinator responds to general inquiries and supports daily receiving, will-call, and documentation processes in a fast-paced onsite warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support warehouse clerks with receiving inbound orders and checking drivers in and out
Assist with preparing outbound orders through the will-call process
Perform clerical tasks including filing, sorting, and organizing paperwork related to warehouse activities
Enter and maintain data in internal systems with accuracy and attention to detail
Respond to general inquiries related to warehouse operations in accordance with established policies
Support additional administrative and clerical tasks as assigned by warehouse management
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills (Must Have)
Comfortable working with computers and learning new systems
Ability to accurately enter and manage data in warehouse or office systems
Technical Skills (Preferred)
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Experience
1–5 years of related warehouse, logistics, or clerical experience preferred
Prior warehouse environment experience is a plus, but not required
Education
High School Diploma or GED preferred
No certifications required
