Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Occupational therapist needed for a travel position in South Holland, IL, serving students in a school setting. This role involves providing skilled OT services to children aged kindergarten through 2nd grade, supporting their developmental and educational needs in two classrooms. The assignment starts ASAP and continues through the end of the school year on May 29th, with potential to extend into the Extended School Year (ESY) and the following academic year, contingent on fit and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students aged K-2, with a caseload of up to 26 students.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Document student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Utilize assessment tools to evaluate students motor and sensory needs.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license with school-based experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young children in educational settings.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Flexibility to support a travel assignment and adapt to varying school environments.
• Commitment to student progress and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Work schedule includes 6.5 hours billed per day, totaling 32.5 hours per week.
