Logistics Coordinator
Our client, a global machinery manufacturing company in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team! This person needs to have experience working in a professional level environment. Aside from the hard skills required to do this job, this person needs to be intelligent, mature, professional and eager to continue growing in their Supply Chain career. Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:- Monitor the shipment progress of machines originating from production facilities
- Process invoices and shipping documentation for the import and transportation of machinery
- Serve as a liaison between logistic centers, carriers, offices and clients
- Ensure timely and efficient operational activities
- Facilitate effective communication across operational levels for the pickup and delivery of machinery
- Collaborate with team members to guarantee punctual deliveries and cost-effectiveness
- Record transactions accurately in the company’s systems
- Address and resolve issues related to machine shipments and deliveries
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibit attention to detail and accuracy in tasks
