Bird Bird Bakery (part of the Noodlebird family) is hiring a dedicated Baker to support our growing pastry program—featuring cookies, cakes, bars, muffins, sweet breads, and seasonal baked goods crafted from scratch with high-quality ingredients.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in morning production, stays organized, and enjoys both baking and jumping in where needed to support service on the weekends.

Schedule: Full-time, Wednesday–Sunday (required)
Hours: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM depending on bakery and prep needs
Experience Required: Minimum 1+ year professional baking experience
Transportation: Reliable transportation required

• Execute daily baking production lists for pastries, cookies, bars, cakes, and muffins

• Scale, mix, portion, and bake doughs, batters, fillings, and toppings

• Manage oven timing, rotation, and bake quality throughout the shift

• Maintain clean and organized workstations and equipment

• Properly label, date, and store all baked goods and ingredients

• Communicate par levels and production needs to management

• Support BOH with light prep as needed

• Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday morning service

• Act as a line cook during Bird Bird’s morning rush—cooking menu items, warming pastries, plating items, and managing ticket flow

• Learn and use the Toast POS system (training provided)

• Assist guests with friendly, accurate service when needed

• Maintain smooth communication with FOH and BOH teams during service

• Uphold Bird Bird’s hospitality standards while balancing service and production needs

• Lamination experience (croissants, puff pastry, etc.) is a plus but not required

• Basic pastry finishing or decorating skills

• Comfort scaling recipes and managing multiple items simultaneously

• Someone who enjoys early mornings and steady production workflows

• Strong time-management with excellent attention to detail

• Ability to follow recipes consistently and communicate clearly

• A reliable team member—regular call-offs and tardiness will not be tolerated

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques and systems (including Toast POS)

• Someone comfortable working independently during early shifts and jumping into service when needed
